The public organization Petersburg School of Yoga («Петербургская школа йоги») is the official representative of Pandit Vamadeva Shastri (Dr. David Frawley) in Russia and has been so since 2008. This school organizes the sales and support of the Russian language distance learning courses of Dr. Frawley as well as the teaching of the Yoga Ayurveda Course in classes in Russia and CIS. Dr. Frawley fully trusts the qualifications of the teachers of the Petersburg School of Yoga and has approved them to teach students and to administer intermediate and final examinations. After finishing the coursework, a certificate of the American Institute of Vedic Studies is issued with the signature of Pandit Vamadeva Shastri (Dr. Frawley) himself. This arrangement does not exist with any other organization in Russia.

Общественная организация «Петербургская школа йоги» является официальным представителем Доктора Дэвида Фроули в России. Под эгидой этой школы в России и СНГ осуществляется продажа и методическая поддержка заочных курсов Д. Фроули и преподавание очного курса «Йога и аюрведа» на русском языке. Доктор Фроули полностью доверяет квалификации преподавателей Петербургской школы йоги и поручает им распространять заочные курсы обучать студентов и принимать контрольные задания и окончательный экзамен.  После окончания обучения на курсах выдается сертификат Американского института ведических знаний, за подписью Д. Фроули.
